Grand National winners
Arguably the greatest horse race in the UK, if not the world, the Grand National is a sporting spectacle full of drama, colour and excitement. The colour is provided in no small part by the silks worn by the jockeys, but when a great horse wins a race of the stature of the Grand National, the colours associated with it can pass into the realms of racing legend.
Which is all well and good, but it doesn't explain why anyone would want to represent them as football kits. Oh well, what's done is done...
