Episode 19: The Kits of Euro 2000
Published: 28 September 2019. Special guests: Jay (DesignFootball.com) and Rich Johnson (TheFootballAttic.com). Duration: 1h 42m.
On this episode, we turn back the clocks to look at the kits of Euro 2000.
Wikipedia tells us that "Euro 2000 is often named by football writers as one of the greatest international tournaments ever" (citation needed), but did the kits match up to the action on the pitch? To find out, the three of us got our heads together to pick our favourite three home and away ensembles, not to mention our worst kit of the competition.
But that's not all. There's also news about Jay's ongoing weight loss (and his consequential wardrobe malfunction), a new European nation is named in the form of the Northerlands, and we wonder if Aston Villa may now have the worst football kit of any team this season.
All this plus listener feedback, a downloadable crib sheet and much, much more in this Benelux-tastic edition of The Kitbliss Podcast...
