Shirt Showdown: Vote 2
This vote-off sees you picking your favourite from three France shirts for the men's national team that haven't been worn in a FIFA World Cup tournament. Which one do you like best? Here are your options...
Shirt A
2004-05 home. The first of two Adidas offerings, this shirt was the fourth in an occasional series that featured a red stripe running across the chest. In a distinctive twist, the stripe was blended subtly into its blue background to give it the appearance of a laser beam shining through the Adidas logo and FFF badge.
Shirt B
2008-09 home. For the first time since the late 1960s (except for a special edition shirt in 2004), this shirt featured no red element at all. Instead, it used two tones of blue among a series of variable width horizontal stripes that complemented a stylish white collar and centrally-placed Adidas logo.
Shirt C
2011-12 home. After many years of Adidas collaboration, the French men's national team switched to Nike in 2011, and this was their first offering. A smart, no-nonsense deep blue shirt with navy blue winged collar presented the French team in a refreshingly simple way compared to alternatives from the preceding 40 years or so.
