Football Kit Design Timeline

1981-82

Racing Santander becomes the first La Liga team in La Liga history to display a shirt sponsor logo on their kit. It belongs to Teka, (a kitchen and appliances company) who would later become more familiarly associated with Real Madrid.

New Zealand wears an away kit of pale blue shirts, summer blue shorts and socks in its 1982 World Cup qualifer against Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
